DriveWealth Joins Initial Launch Group for DTCC Tokenization Service, Advancing On-Chain U.S. Securities Trading

DriveWealth bridges traditional clearing infrastructure and blockchain networks to deliver institutional-grade standards, enhanced asset mobility and access to tokenized U.S. securities for global partners.

NEW YORK – October 28, 2026 – DriveWealth, a leading global financial technology platform providing Brokerage-as-a-Service, today announced its active participation as an initial launch participant in the commercial rollout of the DTCC Tokenization Service (DTS), developed by The Depository Trust Company (DTC), a subsidiary of The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).

DriveWealth is among the first group of DTC Participants accessing DTS to tokenize, transfer, and convert securities entitlements to eligible DTC-custodied securities including Russell 1000 equities, major index ETFs and U.S. Treasuries on approved blockchain networks. The launch represents the natural progression of U.S. market infrastructure, bringing digital asset capabilities within established regulatory frameworks and investor protections, with the potential to support greater liquidity and capital efficiency.

Unlike synthetic wrappers or derivative products that merely track asset prices, DTS enables security entitlements to DTC-custodied securities to be recorded on chain, while retaining the existing legal framework governing those entitlements.

The commercial go-live builds directly upon the initial limited-production trades completed in July 2026, during which DriveWealth served as a counterparty in live bilateral tokenized equity transactions across Canton and Besu blockchains before detokenizing assets back to its traditional DTC account. With DTS now live, DriveWealth enables its global B2B clients—ranging from digital wallets and broker-dealers to banks and asset managers—to leverage modern, tokenized market capabilities without sacrificing institutional standards.

“Global financial markets are being upgraded in real time and tokenization is the natural evolution of how assets move and settle,” said Naureen Hassan, Chief Executive Officer at DriveWealth. “By collaborating with DTCC to launch DTS within the established market infrastructure and legal framework that institutions rely on today, we are helping our global partners realize the potential for greater liquidity and capital efficiency with confidence.”

DTS operates under a multi-network, interoperable model that allows eligible DTC Participants to convert security entitlements between traditional book-entry and tokenized form and, where supported, between approved blockchain networks. This architecture enables greater asset mobility and the ability to transfer Tokenized Entitlements outside traditional DTC operating hours, while retaining the established legal framework governing the underlying security entitlements.

“The low-latency, high-throughput infrastructure we originally built for real-time fractional trading and multi-asset execution is precisely what tokenized market rails require,” said Aaron Sokasian, Chief Technology Officer at DriveWealth. “Tokenization reinforces the necessity of institutional performance. By connecting our Brokerage-as-a-Service platform to institutional tokenization services like DTS, we absorb the underlying infrastructure complexity so our clients can deploy innovative, scalable trading experiences at a fintech’s pace.”

DriveWealth’s participation in DTS reinforces its position as a trusted partner for global financial institutions seeking to navigate changing market dynamics while operating within established regulatory frameworks.
