Robert founded DriveWealth based on the belief that investing in the U.S. stock market should be accessible globally. By combining the right technology, creativity, and financial market wisdom, Robert’s vision will create wealth for individuals, companies, broker-dealers, investment advisors, banks, credit unions, shareholders, and you.
Throughout his more than 30 years in financial services, Robert served in a variety of high-level positions at prominent Wall Street firms, including Credit Suisse A.G., First Chicago Advisory Group, and Merrill Lynch. He has been both a co-owner and managing member of numerous financial services businesses, the CEO of an Inc. 500 firm, and a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. In 2001, he co-founded FX Solutions, LLC, a foreign currency trading business, and served as Co-CEO until 2009. FX Solutions made the Inc. 500 list of fast-growing private companies for three consecutive years. Robert also co-founded Financial Labs, LLC, a high-frequency principal trading business that achieved profitability within its first year of launch. It was later purchased by Bank of America in 2006 for $43 million.
Robert believes that prosperity is not a zero-sum game and is proud to spearhead the DriveWealth team in modernizing the way the world invests. Since its inception, DriveWealth has reached users in more than 150 countries. All around the world, Robert and the DriveWealth team are introducing their new way of investing to their partners’ customers.
Robert earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and an MBA in International Finance from Lehigh University. He holds FINRA Series 3, 7, 24, 34, and 63 licenses.
