Harry Temkin has more than 30 years of professional experience in the financial services and e-commerce sectors.
In his current role as Chief Information Officer of DriveWealth Technologies, LLC., the technologies division of the first digital, full-carrying, fintech broker-dealer, he is responsible for advancing DriveWealth’s growth and business development outreach to the engineering and developer communities, and to work closely with DriveWealth’s partners to continue innovating on the future of investing together.
Prior to rejoining DriveWealth in August 2021, Mr. Temkin served as Vice President of Seller Experience at eBay, where he was directly responsible for helping sellers be more efficient, drive conversion, and grow their businesses profitably by managing the technology and software platforms that enable sellers to create, manage, negotiate, and transact on over 1.7 billion listings and providing advanced analytical tools to maintain efficient listings and monitor sales performance.
Prior to joining eBay in October 2018, Mr. Temkin was Chief Information Officer of DriveWealth Technologies, LLC., with responsibility for the day-to-day technology operations of the broker-dealer ensuring complete uptime and accessibility, and for the strategy and development of the broker-dealer’s products and capabilities. Prior to joining DriveWealth in May 2015, Mr. Temkin was Chief Executive Officer and Partner of KnowVera LLC, a startup financial software company, which combined leading-edge technology with a patented quantitative trading strategy design and implementation tool, proprietary charts, data and analytics. Prior to joining KnowVera in April 2013, Mr. Temkin served in numerous senior management roles at Reuters and Thomson Reuters, the global financial information and news company. He was Executive Vice President and Global Head of Equity Product Development for the company’s flagship product, Thomson Reuters Eikon.
Mr. Temkin served as a Director of the BATS Stock Exchange based in Lenexa, KS from its inception in 2008 through 2015. He also served as the Chairman of the Regulatory Oversight Committee and the Lead Director of the Board for the exchange. Mr. Temkin graduated Cum Laude from Hobart College with a BA in Economics and Mathematics.
